A few weeks ago my friend davide cattaneo from milan got here after a long year of hard work in his town. As soon as he got here we started to go film around the city and so far we got a lot of footage, any kind of it!
To give you a funny taste of what we have been doing down here we put this small clip together to get the hype up! From now on we will keep updating the blog with these clips, photos and whatever we got!
Davide was also that stoked that he draw the title and a new logo for the blog and he made it taking the idea from the historical sicilian logo, the "trinacria", in order to remember all of you guys where the blog is from! I'm really stoked for it! thanks a lot man!! barcelona is on fire

Gionny is one of my oldest friends, just one day older than me, same hobbies, same friends since we were little kids! Barcelona pushing!

On the last day before going home Gio decided to go all day around barcelona and just skate randomly!
Once we got home, really hyped from the day we imported all the footage but only then we realized we spent that day just pushing! we basically had no tricks but big pushes!! As gio' sais though pushing is the best part, it still was a sick day! I love cities that let you go around only by skateboard and you don't need a car; you just get so much control of your board!
Gio' and me want to throw down a contest about what he says right when he wakes up! We spent more than 30 minutes listening to it back and forth, and laughing so hard, we couldn't figure it out!! Actually we would love to know even only the language he is speaking! If you got some ideas please let us know! The only idea we came to at the end is that he is got the gift like the bible says! ahah
Now gio is home getting the cold and a lot of snow and I'm sorry for that! Pack your stuff and get back gio', everyone is waiting for you!!

Mall session?!

A few weeks ago I got this phone call from my friend adriano who told me about this skate thing going on that night at this big mall up in the volcano etna...really, really weird! we all went knowing that it was going to be trash which could have meant a lot of fun!
there was house music, food and other stuff going on outisde, shops were opened and people were on fire
there was also a little area with some ramps for the skating put there by the local shop who organized a game of skate
around midnight when everything was about to be over, shops were closing and people were going home we just went inside the mall and had the sickest session ever, incredible!
with no reasons they just led us skate whatever inside that place, we waxed this ledge and skated the stairs set with all the security guards chilling out there! here a random clip of that night! craaaazy

Fish and tricks around catania!

If you like skating, eating fish and you live around this area you are pretty much all set up!

this clip was filmed in october when my friend ale from milan was in town! we just went cruising around catania, bought some GOOD fish and then had a sick night at claudio's house up in the volcano etna!

nothing much, I just love having good times with the homies! thanks ale, giuliano, claudio, miniloke, nesto and girlfriends for that day!

Lerry at barceloneta banks!

Barcelona is crazy and full of spots! I will never stop saying that!
Today, going home from a good session around the city we ended up at the famous spot of the little and steep banks called barceloneta!
when you come across spots like these you have to stop, at least for one trick! davide "lerry" frassine was hyped and did a few more than just one!

Barcelona gipsy haircut!

yo boys! I'm in Barcelona! first thing I did as soon as I got here was getting my wallet stolen which sucked a lot, second thing I did was getting a special and traditional haircut here in spain!

Catania night session on tv!

I think it's weird how different people can get the same thing completely on a different way, but the night of that "catania night session" we were just doing our own things as everyday, but for some other people I guess the clip that came out of it was just incredible...that incredible that today it went on this tv channel!
I don't know why, I don't know how they heard about it or found it,  I don't know if it was a good or bad thing, I only know catania is crazy and the locals even more!!
as soon as my friend tony told me to turn the tv on and put it on telecolor channel i was already filming the clip on my iphone! ahahha craaazy

Ale is got style!

here we got 2 more lines at that spot we skated in modica! this time from alessandro di meo! this guy is half dutch half sicilian; he comes down here pretty much every year to visit his family from modica and he is one of the local that knew this spot! he is a really cool guy, sings on a reggae band and is got sick and smooth style!  it's so funny how he throws down good sicilian slang between german and english while speaking! what can I say more than zhonnaaaa see you soon my friend!

Catania is on fire!

I love when days like this come, when everyone is just hyped to go shred the city and skate random spots! I love these days even because they remind me how sick skateboarding is and that skateboarding is one of the few things that can let you have experiences like this one! everything happened in a few hours!

Ernesto Carta, Giorgio Vecchio aka gino, Danilo Consoli, Adriano la Greca, Tony Fish, Francesco Caccetta, Ale and me were skating, all the others made the day!

we really enjoyed that session, hope you enjoy the montage that came out of it!

2010 - my friend giorgio vecchio aka gino calls me one day telling me he wants to try 5050 on this green metal hubba spot in catania. He was hyped!

2012 - my friend giorgio vecchio aka gino called me yesterday telling me he wanted to try the 5050 on the same spot again. We went back. We all were hyped. Gino redemption.

Gino is one of the nicest guy ever, the real homie! He is now home laying down on his bed watching all the youtube videos possibles!
To keep his hype up we put this clip together of some footage he filmed a while ago!
